The National Association of Leavitt Families currently awards two scholarships to college-bound high school Leavitt descendants. The amount of each 2009 scholarship was $500. In 2010 we increased that to two $1,000 Scholarships, thanks to increasing donations to the program.
Our March 1, 2025 NALF Board Meeting increased our annual award to ONE $3000 scholarship.
Essays are submitted regarding the student’s future plans and the meaning of their Leavitt heritage.
Winners are announced at the annual meeting and reunion. The winning essays are printed in the Newsletter each year following the awards.
The ANNUAL scholarship deadline is May 1st (postmark). Thanks to all who submit their essays!
OPEN to high school seniors who have a close relative that is a current NALF member in good standing and who will act as their sponsor.
